Dorothy Cammarata, 80, of Naples, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 6, 2012. She’s survived by her two loving sons, Carl (Pamela) Cammarata of Eastpointe, MI, Samm Cammarata and Craig Cuerden of Naples. She is also survived by her two cherished grandchildren Matthew and Katelyn Cammarata and her dear cousin, Vincent LaMendola.
Dorothy moved to Naples in 1980 after spending her earlier years in Harper Woods MI. Later in life she thoroughly enjoyed travelling, accompanied by her sons and grandchildren on numerous European excursions. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Tony. Dorothy was an extraordinary mother, wife and Nana and will be loved and missed by all.
She was an active member of St. Leo Catholic Church, Bonita Springs
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 pm, Monday, June 11, 2012 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. Leo Catholic Church in Bonita Springs. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
