

Elenor was born in Detroit, Michigan to Herman Stuehmer and Johanna on January 8, 1929. The family later moved to Utica, Michigan, where she spent the next 70 years. She became a Michigan Bell telephone operator, then met and married her husband, the late Edward B. Wardell, Sr. in 1951. He passed away in 1988.
Her special love was to travel, first with her husband and then with companion Bob in his Motorhome visiting every state in the US including Alaska, missing only Hawaii. Then purchasing a little home in Club Naples RV park in 2000 and spending winters there. She also was involved and became a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine.
This amazing lady is survived by her daughter, Joanne and husband, Daniel Loyd. Their children: Ryan Lidgard and partner April Luper, Andrew and spouse Kelly Lidgard, Heather and husband David Shouts, Daniel II and wife Bekka Loyd.
Her son, Edward B. Wardell, Jr. and his wife Christina. Their daughters: Maria and Derek Davis, Jennifer and Jalen Morris.
13 Great Grandchildren: Mikaela, Tyson, MacKenzie, Alivia, Lucas, Carly, Hunter, Michael, Cathryn, Makenzi, Gideon, Axel, Sophia.
