

Rev. Evins Plancher was born in Temps-Perdu, Haiti to Marguerite Cesaire and Duperrier Plancher on November 4th, 1949.
He went to school at Ecole Evangelique Bethel (Jean-Rabel, Haiti) and College Evangelique Maranatha (Port-au-Prince, Haiti). He married the late Marie-Paulette Gernigon in 1977 in Jean-Rabel, Haiti. He graduated from l’Ecole Evangelique de la Bible in 1976. He was the founder of Eglise Baptiste Bellevue (Collette, Jean-Rabel, Haiti), Eglise Baptiste du Mont-Olive (Jean-Rabel, Haiti), Institut Moderne les Freres Perrier (Jean-Rabel, Haiti), and Nouveau College Moderne les Freres Perrier (Jean-Rabel Haiti). He worked as an associate pastor at Mt. Olive First Missionary Baptist Church in Fort-Lauderdale, Fl from 1996 to 2003, then at First Haitian Baptist Church in Naples, Fl for the past 2 decades.
Rev. Evins Plancher is preceded in death by Duperrier Plancher (father), Marguerite Cesaire (mother), Michael Plancher (brother), Enock Plancher (brother), Tecier Plancher (brother), Marissa Nore (sister), Marie-Paulette Gernigon (spouse), Dr. Alex Berns E. Plancher (son).
Rev. Evins Plancher is survived by his children Dr. Robenss Plancher and his wife Judith T. Plancher, Rhode H. Petiote and her husband Guy Petiote; his brother Reverend Calvin Plancher and his wife Ursule Plancher; his sisters Cedecia Plancher, Erodia Leo, Ruth & her husband Etilus Hyppolite, Elcania Plancher, and Gisele Plancher; his grandchildren Ashley, Sebastian, Robyn, Ryan, & Ryleigh; his nieces and nephews: Remy, Ernest, Tylor, Wislet, Alinka, Jasemine, Dr. Maude, Kenson, Gasnel, Jose, Gretchen, Edwin, Dorothy, Ruth Amar, Dr. Tayina, Wolf, Kevin, Kerlove, Memerne, Micheline, Jonathan, Joardin, Kenand, Ruth, Judith, and Jean-Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 15th, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Haitian Baptist Church of Naples.
Burial will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens.
