

Nanda is survived by her Husband, Joel Pearlman. Her surviving son is Bryan Rivera whose wife is Katherine, and their daughter, Angelina. Her surviving daughter is Jennifer Rivera and children Mia and Cash. Her eldest daughter, Tanya and her child Casey are both deceased. Tanya's children, Madalyn and Alexi Ash, are survivors. In addition, she was Stepmother to Laura Pearlman whose son is Steven; Joel's second daughter, Shari Pearlman, and his son, Eric Pearlman, whose wife is Victoria and their children, India and Elias.
Nanda was born on July 22, 1944, in the town of Mosciano Sant’ Angelo in the province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region of eastern Italy. She emigrated and became a US citizen 1973.
Nanda was a talented beautician and stylist, going on to own her own business in Metuchen, NJ, where she raised her family. She was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce.
Nanda met Joel in 1988 and wed Joel on June 25, 1989. Together, they were both courageous and adventurous. They traveled in South America; Eastern and Western Europe and across the United States and Canada They both worked in The American School in Lima, Peru for At this time, Nanda took classes to become an avid photographer, documenting her love of people and nature thru travel.
Nanda was an active caregiver and advocate for human rights and self-improvement, working with many charities from The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida to the Naples Shelter for Abused Women and Children. Nanda was known to many as a thoughtful and caring person and mentor.
She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends she touched throughout her life.
