Frances V. Todd

Frances V. Todd 91, of Naples died Saturday January 04, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Todd in 1998.Born on January 05, 1922 in Gioia, province of Bari, Italy to Paul and Marietta Ventura (Laterza). She finished mid- school in 1938 and worked in various jobs in Italy until 1947 when she came to New York as a war bride. She moved to New Jersey in 1954 and worked for Western Electric until her retirement in 1969.She loved cooking and various arts and crafts in her free time. She was a member of the Pioneer's Club of Western Electric, the Italian-American Club, and St.John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Naples.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Kathy and Paul and Patti; by her grandchildren Emily, Cara, Danny, Amber(Shawn), Joey; by her great grandchildren Bella and Ethan. She is also survived by William Todd(Marianne) and Kara, Christy, Jeffrey, and Jennifer.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 9th, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, with Mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Todd's name may be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, Florida 34105.
