Ismael Gonzalez was born in Isla de Pinos, Cuba, on November 9, 1933, to Patricio Gonzalez and Sabina Flores-Gonzalez. He was married to Teresa Gonzalez. He was a man who saw both ups and downs in life, but he lived every part of it to the fullest. Rooted in hard work, love for his family, and pride in his Cuban heritage, he proudly owned and operated Cuban grocery stores. He had a great sense of humor and was known for the life and energy he brought to those around him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life touched many and whose memory will live on in all who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Gonzalez; his daughter, Marianela Henthorne; his son-in-law, Daniel Henthorne; and their children, Jacob, Benjamin, and Corbin. He also leaves behind many beloved family members and friends, far too many to name, all of whom will cherish his memory.
