Jackie was born August 25, 1939 in Fort Myers, FL the son of Jeff and Allie Franklin. They moved to Naples in 1943. He graduated from Naples High School which is now Gulfview Middle School. After graduation he began working for Collier County in the purchasing department. He retired after 30 years of service to the county and in 2004, he and his wife moved to LaBelle, FL where he lived until his passing.
Survived by his daughter, Jodie Montgomery, his son-in-law Mark, and his grandchildren Katie, 17 and Jack, 14.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of over 40 years, Marilyn Franklin.
Private interment will take place in Naples Memorial Gardens.
