
Jane Fink Waltzer, born May 11, 1969, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2016 after courageously living with breast cancer. Jane is survived by her devoted husband Dr. Joel Waltzer, her 3 loving daughters Suzanne (18), Rachel (16), and Zoe (12), her mother Roberta Packer Tannenbaum and Donald Tannenbaum, her father Herbert Fink, her sisters and spouses Lauren and Max Rid, Pamela and Howard Wolofsky, Marla and Eric Morningstar and her nieces and nephews Adam, David and Noah, Samantha, Ashley and Shelby and Dylan, Brody and Logan, her loving father-in-law Dr. Arthur Waltzer and Ree Waltzer, her sister and brother-in-laws Megan, Garrett, Adam, and Shige and nephews Jeremy, Isaac, Leo and Jake.
Jane was born in New York, spending her early years on Long Island before moving with her family to Florida in 1982. While studying at the University of Florida she met the love of her life Joel. After a career in teaching in Atlanta she moved to raise her family in Naples, where the Waltzers have lived for the past 16 years. Jane’s devotion to her daughters and family was unparalleled. She was a beloved member of the Naples community: she was a board member of the Jewish Federation, an active member of the CSN PA as well as the Jewish Family and Community Services of SW Florida and Drug Free Collier. Jane’s life touched so many people and organizations. All those who had the privilege of knowing her share in this profound loss. Jane and her husband co-founded the YogaCAN event that benefits the Cancer Alliance of Naples.
