She married James E. Walston on October 23, 1960. Joyce worked in education for Collier County School System and was a member of St. Monica’s Episcopal Church. She celebrated life with her husband Jim, family, and friends. She loved old movies, mysteries, crossword puzzles, travel, and playing golf.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; son, James K. (Teri) and daughter, Elizabeth “Liz”; grandchildren, Rachel, Riley and Morgan Walston.
Memorial Gathering will be held, Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00-2:30 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 with a Memorial Service at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Joyce’s memory to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
