Larry W. Lewis

Larry graduated from Naples High School in 1967. Following high school he served in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Germany and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Larry married Christine Gillespie in May 1975. They celebrated 38 years of marriage earlier this year. Larry owned Carefree Pool Service here in Naples for over 25 years. As a volunteer coach for Gulf Coast Little League; Larry instilled the principle of good sportsmanship in local youngsters. Larry was also an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved college football and was a “diehard” Gator fan.

Larry is survived by his sons Andrew Lewis of Atlanta, Georgia and Cameron Lewis of Naples, Florida, his beloved ex-wife Christine Lewis of Naples, Florida, his brother Kenneth Lewis (Marsha Lewis) of Warrenton, Virginia as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Marjorie and his brother Ray Lee Lewis.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1pm on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, Florida.
