Linda Sue Plourde

Linda Sue Plourde , 64 of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Linda was born to the late Richard and Georgia (Daniels) Barnes on March 19, 1947 in Plantation, Florida.

Linda is survived by her loving husband George Salvatore Plourde whom she was married to for twenty-seven years. Her loving children Dawn Anne Reinholtz of Manhattan, NY, Heather Lynn Reinholtz, Chicago, Il , Jason (April) Plourde of Orlando, Florida. Linda leaves a precious grandson Reed Allen Plourde of Orlando, Fl and two sisters Rhonda Drips of Plantation, Fl and Barbara Barnes Buchanan of Bontia Springs, Fl.

Linda graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and then earned her Masters Degree of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University. Linda had a strong love and passion for art, gardening and music so much so that she has was given the honor of Master Gardener Of The Year in 2008. Linda was the Curator of the Ritter Art Gallery at Florida Atlantic University from 1988 - 1992. She was owner/artist of Gilded Frames in Naples, FL and was actively working until her passing.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February, 18, 2012 at 11:00am. Services will be held at Trinity By The Cove Episcopal Church, 553 Galleon Drive, Naples, Florida 34102. A reception from 1:00-3:00 PM following the service will be held at Courtyside Golf & Country Club, 600 Countryside Drive, Naples, Florida 34104.
