

Michael Gabriel Keating, 39, of Naples, Florida passed away at home on January 9, 2018. He was born in Bloomington, Illinois in 1978 and grew up in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Mike was an avid rock climber, caver, and a World Champion American Saddlebred horse exhibitor. Mike worked as a Systems Engineer in the I.T. industry for over 20 years. Mike had an insatiable passion for knowledge in the computer science industry. At 16 years of age he was the youngest Certified Network Engineer in the country. Mike went on to acquire numerous additional certified credentials in his field. Mike met his wife, Amy Trigo in Lexington, Kentucky in 2001. They married in Naples, Florida in 2008. Mike and Amy had their only child, Audrey Nicole in 2010. Amy and Audrey were the loves of Mike's life and they were inseparable. They enjoyed frequent trips to Disney World, fishing off the dock in their neighborhood lake, climbing the jungle gym at the park, school projects, gymnastics, and spending time with Audrey no matter the activity.
Mike is survived by his wife, Amy Keating; daughter, Audrey Nicole; parents, Michael and Maureen Keating; sister, Ashley Keating; and many other beloved family and friends.
A Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 4pm-6pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Ave. N. Naples, FL 34108).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for memorial contributions to be made to the Audrey Keating Educational Trust.
