Michael Joseph McHugh, 42, of Naples and formerly of Williston Park, New York, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2015. He loved sports and his favorite teams were the Buccaneers, Islanders, and Mets. He loved playing music. He enjoyed reading, movies, and video games especially of the scifi genre. He had a fun, kind heart and a quick wit, and he was known for his humor and quirks. He could put a smile on any face, and above all, he would do anything for his family and friends.
Michael had been a manager with Costco for two decades, and had recently opened his own business.
He is survived by his loving wife Aixa, his children Patrick, Chrisaixa, and Molly. His parents, Pete and Doris, his brother Peter and wife Diane, his niece and God Daughter Kayley McHugh, Aunt Maureen Fogarty, his Uncles Andrew and wife Joann Tarpey, Joseph and wife Mary Ann McHugh, Dr. Thomas and wife Emily McHugh.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 4 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N, Naples. Visitation will take place after the service from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be Sunday, July 5th 2015 at 1:00 PM at Naples Memorial Gardens.
