I can remember all the fun Mike and i had during the summers in
the 50's . My parents would put me on the train, PRR, from Silver
Springs,MD. Mike and I would have the best time in Mt. Washington
We would go to the corner store on Ulysses  St and get penny candy. We also would get on the Trolley on Bertha St in front of Grandpa and Grandma's house. We would ride it thru the woods on the way to Downtown Pittsburgh. Walk across the bridge to get to the Duquense   Incline and back up to Mt. Washington we would go.
It would take more than the space allowed to tell everything we did.
Miss You Mike

I echo my brother George's memories of our cousin Mikie. He was very kind and always smiling and laughing and making sure everyone was having a good time. We loved him! Our mothers Teresa and Rita were close and even though I and my 4 brothers George, Chuck (deceased 12/19), John, and Steve (deceased 3/19) grew up in Bethesda MD, our families had many memorable times together in Pittsburgh, Bethesda and Ocean City, MD as well as in Miami Beach where Uncle Mike and Aunt Teresa spent their winters after retirement. Our fathers Uncle Mike and Uncle George were both one-of-a-kind characters. Both loved to have a good time and were very fond of each other. Uncle Mike loved to show up unexpectedly at our door in Bethesda. Our Mom loved these spontaneous visits while our Dad was not always so happy until Uncle Mike came in the door and appeased our Dad with his infectious good nature. Mikie would be laughing behind his father while our Mothers were over the moon to see each other.  We are so sorry for loss. Cousin Mikie is gone too soon.

Mike was my favorite cousin. I can remember as a child, in the late 50's my
parents would put me on the Pennsylvania Rail Road out of Washington DC to spend the summer in
Mt. Washington. Mike and I would take the trolley that ran down in front of Grand Ma Badaracco's ride it to downtown Pittsburgh then take the 
Incline back up. His sister's Ginny
and Linda made us get in the storm
sewer one time so they could go out
a date. Those were a couple of the many
highlights of our summers. Those were the days.

Wayne and I and our children will all Miss Mike so very much,
His warm welcoming smile and laugh will never be forgotten.
All the wonderful times we had together.
What a  very Beauitful  Mass for a Beauitful man .

Mary and I were deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  He has been a good neighbor, a good friend and someone who has had a positive impact on our entire community by serving with distinction as the President of our Board of Directors.   He was respected and loved by all our residents and will be greatly missed.  Mary and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Trish and the Zeto family.

If I had one word to describe working at BBG it would be FAMILY! Uncle Mike treated his employees like his own kids and always looked out for us. He always had something funny to say and knew how to have a good time, and is quite the dancer! My heart goes out to the Zeto family and may time help you heal and bring you peace! Love you all!

Mike was a great guy.  I am so sorry for your loss. I know Christmas won't be the same without him, but I hope it helps a little to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  RIP Mike.

A kind and caring person.  Mike was always looking out for us when we were his neighbors  in Regent Park.  He was always ready with a helping hand and a glass of wine. We will always have fond memories of Mike - Uncle Mike.
