She was married for 60 years to Jerry Ferrara who passed away ten years ago, and she is survived by two sisters Sylvia Voto, Lola Buonpane and her husband Louis Buonpane, and one brother, John Coscia. Beloved Nancy is also survived by two sons and their wives, Ralph and Young Nan Ferrara and Dr. Lawrence and Kathryn Ferrara, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and many loved nephews and nieces.
Nancy was a devout Catholic throughout her life who said a "Novena" to the Blessed Mother every 8th of the month beginning in February 1934 and attended Mass every morning “for decades” during the 40 days prior to Lent. She was deeply loved and respected by both family and friends for her extraordinary generosity, caring nature, and genuine way of making all whom she met feel special.
Her funeral mass will be held at Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, Florida at 12:00 noon on Wednesday October 7th.
