Pat and I met in high school when we were 13 years old. We remained friends since then...74 years to be exact, but who’s counting?
We married, had children and still continued our friendship. We double dated when our husbands were in the Marine Corps. One of my funniest recollections was when we all went out one night and we got home just a little too late. The next day when we went to pick her up for another day of dating Pat’s mom wouldn’t let her go out with us because she stayed out too late. Her mom was petite but tough. Poor me. Here I am with two handsome marines all to myself. Thank you, Mom. Pat and Jim raised a beautiful family. I always admired her strength and positive acceptance of situations you can’t change. She lost two children and I just lost one the same week Pat died. So to you Pat my dearest buddy
I too shall try to be strong and positive because that along with your unconditional love for me and our friendship will be with me always. I will miss our phone calls and will miss you every day of my life.
I loved you like a sister. See you on the other side.

Aunt Pat,
Rest in peace. I treasure growing up next door to a wonderful person. So kind, thoughtful and caring to all who had the fortune to know her.

Aunt Pat will be dearly missed. I have very happy memories going to visit Aunt Pat and Uncle Jim in Naples. They always remembered what snacks and treats you liked and made those trips extra special. Aunt Pat will always have an important place in my heart and I’m thankful to her and Uncle Jim for making childhood into adulthood so memorable for me and my sister Caitlin.

Pat could be counted on for wonderful conversation over the years.
We could reset our day by going down to the pool at Gulf Breeze and just enjoy her company filled with story telling. Pat and Jim were good neighbors and delightful people to be sharing Gulf Breeze over the years and I wish sweet memories of her as we have for all of her family and friends.

Pat was a beautiful loving soul. We shared many happy times as friends here at our condo. She was a steady presence who shared comfort and support to us.
Conversation and a glass of wine, were special times we shared with her.
Will miss her forever. !
