Phyllis Jean Voss

Voss, Phyllis Jean (Rosen). Born on December 5th, 1943 in Chattanooga Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2020 -- her 77th birthday. Phyllis lived for many years in Georgia where she was a real-estate agent and served in the Georgia Legislature for nearly 10 years as a staff assistant to G.D. Adams. Phyllis relocated to Bonita Springs, Florida in 2002 where she was a successful business owner and active in her community. She loved tennis, boating, and caring for her birds. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Wanda Rosen. Phyllis is survived by her sister Linda Kidd (Americus, Georgia), her loving husband, Kenneth Voss, and two sons Michael (Donna) Bonita Springs, Florida; Mark (Amy) Mobile, Alabama; and two stepchildren Steven Voss (Danielle) Atlanta, Georgia; Dee Voss (Richmond, Virginia); grandchildren Abby Byrd, (Mobile Alabama), and Christopher Byrd (Bonita Springs, Florida) and several great grandchildren by her marriage to Kenneth. She was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all those who loved her so dearly. A simple gathering in celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held at Naples Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 19th at 10:30 am followed by a family gathering in her home at 26430 Summer Greens Drive, Bonita Springs Florida. In in lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to your favorite charity.
