He was born on July 28, 1953 in Newark, NJ, son of the late Pasquale and Pasqualina Friscia.
He grew up in NJ but was ready for year-round warmer weather deciding that Naples was the
place to be.
Rel would always put his family first and had a great sense of humor and great wit and even when he was battling illness, he still would often crack a joke.
Rel was a football enthusiast, loved reading (especially historical novels), loved music, had a passion for going to the gym and watched Jeopardy almost every night which he was really good at.
Above all else, he was a family man, happily married and a proud father. Rel is survived by his wife Barbara, children, Michael (his wife Laurel), Marissa, Stacie Cuccaro (her husband Joe), granddaughters, Gabriella, Ashley, Sophia, his sisters, Filippa Antonino, Lucille Braz (her husband Ric) and family and friends who loved him dearly.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date (to be announced).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hodgesfhatnaplesmg.com for the Friscia family.
