

He spent 65 plus years in the vending and food service business and was known and respected for his business acumen and amazing generosity. Bob achieved the success of being the largest vending and food service provider in Southwest Florida and was one of the oldest allowed to become a Canteen Franchise.
Bob will be remembered as a Gentleman and a gentle man. His wit and sense of humor were matched only by his keen intellect. He was a noble man of integrity, compassion and humility, never seeking the limelight. Despite his many responsibilities, sometimes working many jobs, he always made time for his family. His great hobby was his love of classic cars, especially Packard's. He owned several over his lifetime and relished car shows, especially Cars on Fifth, and driving around town in any one of them. Bob was a friend of Bill W's for nearly 67 years and made an ordinary life, extraordinary.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen Hetzel, a twin brother Raymond, a daughter, Catherine, grandson Michael, granddaughter Rebecca, brothers Thomas and George, and a stepson Thomas.
Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marilyn Glowacki Hetzel, sons Raymond, Robert Jr. (Kathleen), Charles (Kathleen), Timothy (Julie), daughters Carol, Sandra (William), grandson Scott and granddaughter Elizabeth, whom he raised, step-sons Marc and Todd Glowacki. 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Brothers, David (Linda) and John (Sharon) many nieces, nephews, friends and lastly his devoted caregiver Aymee Iser, whom he considered another daughter.
A viewing will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 9:00-10:30 AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108. Following the visitation will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, FL 34120.
