Robert was born July 3, 1946 in Newark, NJ the son of James and Jean Rinaldi. He graduated from Seton Hall University and Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia. He trained as an intern and resident at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. Following this, he served at Langley Airforce Base in Virginia as a physician. From 1978 to 2010, Robert practiced his specialty as an obstetrician/gynecologist in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.
He was devoted to his family, his friends and his patients. All who knew him have been touched by his generous and gentle spirit. His passion for learning never ceased. His sense of humor remained intact up to his final words. He is loved dearly.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents James and Jean Rinaldi and brother, James Rinaldi in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, daughters, Tracy Hardy and husband David Hardy of Madison, CT, and Robin Rinaldi, of Monte Rio, CA, grandchildren, Owen Hardy, Elise Hardy, and Thea Hardy all of Madison, CT. Robert is also survived by brother Michael Rinaldi and wife Patricia of Naples, FL.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Centerpoint Community Church, Naples, FL followed by a repast from 12-3 at the Player's Club at Lely Resort in Naples.
