I meet Ron and Bud back when they first opened shop on Torrence ave.Ron would bring his shop rags into my folks laundry mat ( OAK GLEN SPEED WASH ) and my Mom would have me run them back to the shop. Well after a few times Ron asked me if I'd like to hanh out on saturday night while they worked on the Judge ( thought I'd gone to heaven where I'm sure Ron is ) from then on rest is history.Miss hanging out with Ron and Bud in the little garage on the alley. Popeyes is there now. Rest in peace Ron.

I met Ronny when he lived at my Aunt and Uncles home. He always had a smile and was just so cute and funny.  He became a part of the family.  I was looking for pic of my cousins cars and came across the Obit. i had no idea Ron had passed.  I am so  very sorry for the family to hear this.   

Ron and I were married when I was eighteen. We have two great sons, we also had a miscarriage. 
  I was a born and raised Chicago girl, so he had to teach me and the boys about his favorite hobbies.  To this day we still enjoy doing them, fishing, camping, trap and skeet, target shooting, he taught the boys to cook like him also.  Presque Isle, Michigan was our favorite place to camp, and still is.
  We have sons and grandkids that will continue our family from when we first became husband and wife, even after we’re gone.  Our marriage might have ended, but our family will continue forever.  He was, my first true love.
  Ron also had small plane pilot license, and before we got married he flew me to Lake Geneva.  When we were flying there, a storm had surrounded us, so he had to find someplace to land.  He found one, a military base, the guy on the base was freaking because a civilian cannot land on a base.  Ron told him we had no choice.  I was never so scared in my life, but what a memory.
  Life gave Ron some health challenges that he had to overcome, but I heard he just rolled with the punches and didn’t complain.
  He will always have a special place in my heart.

We all in the kitchen knew Ron Jordan as “Uncle Ron” and I had the pleasure of working with him for almost two years. When I met him I was 28 years old and given the task of managing the kitchen where he worked. There is only one only person that I have met that was even on the same level of hardworking as Ron was.  He was always in a bright and sunny mood no matter what he felt like or what difficulties he was going through at the moment, and the moment he was given a task or responsibility he threw himself into it fully and with all his heart. He was kind, smart, and dependable to a fault, putting his dedication to his brother’s business and his family above all else. He will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He truly made a mark in my life and I give my most sincere condolences to anyone that he had the chance to interact with and anyone lucky enough to say he was close to. I am sad to see him go but am so happy that he can truly be at peace knowing he lived each day to the fullest and working as hard as he could. Hopefully I see you in heaven one day Ron. Amy & Stephanie, I am so sorry for your loss. Ron was a great man and loved you both very much. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Stephanie, your dad adored you from the moment you were born and I seen that firsthand. You were his baby girl..Cherish all the good memories. We love you! ❤️
