

He was born September 11, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Willie Mae (nee McDavid) and Richard L. Jordan.
He attended Hammond High School in Hammond Indiana before opening and operating for 28 years the nationally acclaimed King Speed Shop in Lansing Illinois.
Cooking amazing food for friends, constituents, and family being another of his life-long passions, when he moved to Naples in 2005 he was instrumental in the creation of Service by Jordan Catering.
He was an expert skeet shooter, an avid fisherman. His fondest memories were of his fishing vacations to Presque Isle Michigan with his two sons. He was very proud of their and his daughter's life achievements.
Ron will be remembered by both those who knew him best and those he touched briefly as a gentle soul with a passion for excellence in whatever he pursued. His several recent health challenges never held him back from his unswerving passion for creating magical food for the company he helped form.
He is predeceased by his parents Willie Mae and Richard L. Jordan.
He leaves behind daughter Stephanie, and 2 sons, Ronald Jr. and his wife Krystal, their children, Kristina, Andi, Jerrie, and Jackson, and son Christopher and his wife Tosha and their three children Dominic, Aria, and Bodhi, and loving brother Richard.
Services will be at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 on Monday May 7, 2018 at 5PM with a celebration of his life reception immediately thereafter.
