He was born in the The Dalles Oregon.
Married to Julie. Loving father to Kim Yeager son-in-law Gary, Lisa Schwab son -in-law Dwight, Cheryl Dalton son-in-law Ed, and predeceased by daughter Kyleen Culver. Proud grandfather of nine, Jaki Johnson and husband Dustin , Erik Caldwell, Marcus Schwab, Cameron Schwab, Connor Schwab, Joe Schwab, Carly Januzzi, Delaney Januzzi and Nicole Januzzi. Great grandchildren Colton and Hunter Johnson.
Stan graduated from Portland State after serving two years in the navy on a submarine.
He settled in Portland Oregon and was a builder and developer of multifamily apartments, hotels and restaurants.
He married Julie in 1987 and they lived in Portland Oregon, and eventually Florida.
His passions were boating as well as skiing and scuba diving. Later in life he took up golf.
He and Julie have lived in Bonita Bay for 15 years.
There will be a private service in Oregon at a later date.
