past year.
Suzanne is lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Robert Morris, her sons
Ryan Morris and Shawn Morris, and her mother, Rolande Streeter. In addition, Suzanne
is survived by her brothers Donald Streeter of Nebraska, David Streeter of Florida,
Robert St.Jean of New Hampshire, Joel Streeter of Michigan, Richard St.Jean of
Massachusetts, John Streeter of New Hampshire, Philip Streeter of New Hampshire,
Paul St.Jean of New Hampshire, and her sisters Louise Breen of New Hampshire,
Denise Daley of Florida, and Karen Joseph of Florida. She was predeceased by her
brothers Brian Streeter of New Hampshire and Mark Streeter of Tennessee.
Suzanne was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 31, 1960, the second youngest of
13 siblings. She received a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Florida State
University in 1982, and a Masters degree in Special Education at Florida Gulf Coast
University in 2001. She taught special education for 33 years and is remembered for her
sense of humor and her big hugs. Suzanne enjoyed traveling, playing golf, volunteering
for and promoting the Special Olympics, and cheering for her favorite sports teams. She
was a regular volunteer driver for the Road to Recovery program sponsored by the
American Cancer Society, and volunteered in after-school extracurricular activities. In
retirement, she spent summers in Colorado and traveled East Coast to West Coast,
exploring the country and visiting family.
Suzanne was a kind, generous, loving mother who gave her all to her family. She was
renowned for her freely given hugs, hand-knit washcloths, and ability to bring people
together. We will never be able to fill the space she left behind.
In lieu of flowers, Suzanne asked for donations to Special Olympics of Florida in her
memory. Services will be held on February 12th, 2022, at 11:30 AM at St. Agnes
Catholic Church in Naples, Florida, followed by a reception from 1:30-3:30 PM at
Heritage Green Club House located at ArrowHead Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Fond
