Im sorry that i havent had the courage to write here before now. It has been very hard without you here to call and talk to when i have a problem or just feel like talking to you... i want you to know that you were the best big brother that anyone could ever hope for. We had so much fun blowing stuff up and lighting things on fire with Adam... I think of you every day and truly miss you with all my heart and wish that i had more time with you. If i had a second chance with you there is a lot of things that i would have done differently... But no matter what i know that i will always love you with 100% of my being, and that you always loved me...

Dear Christina and family I am so very sorry to hear about Wes.  Although I did not know him I can see from all the pictures and posts that he was a wonderful husband and father and that he will be truly missed.   May you all find comfort and peace in all the wonderful memories he has left behind.  Love you!

Dear Marty, I've put this off until the very last moment because its as if I'm saying good by for real.  I'm so sorry that the last time we saw each other wasn't deeply meaningful. You came to pick up the kids and we talked a bit about nothing much.  In hind sight..........if only I'd known...........but I do thank God that I got to see you at all.  Grandma told me often about what good parents you and Christina are and how happily married you were.  I was skeptical but saw for myself that she was right. And your kids are so so very precious and well behaved and kind and smart....a real pleasure to watch for a whole weekend.  I imagine you and your dad hanging out together looking down on us knowing that eventually we will join you in your home in heaven.  I love you and miss you and want you to know that we will all do what we can to help Christina and the kids in your absence. with many prayers for your family and much love from mine...goodby.

I have tried writing here so many times, yet the words just keep getting stuck.  But I have to let our family in Florida know, all you guys down there, we love you and pray for you.  There hasn't been a day that has gone by that you haven't been in our thoughts, our hearts.  Marty was a special man; and he is deeply missed. I just recently found out.  I am so sorry for your loss Chris and kids.  Wes was a great man and a dear friend to many. Mine and my girls thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. We are here if you need anything.

Words cannot express how very sorry I am for your loss. Everyday I pray God gives you strength and heals your heart. I remember meeting you my freshman year and learning so much from you and my fellow JROTC classmates. You were always a great guy and even tho we lost contact for some years I always kept in contact with Cristina. You were and will always be a loved and cherished man. May you be at peace and your family the strength and love that you always showed them to last a lifetime. You will be greatly missed my friend

So many years have passed and I still remember your face from the first days of your freshman year.  Thankfully with the help of today's technology, we can follow one another with social media.  And with that, I seen that you have grown into an amazing husband and father.  I'm blessed to have known you and call you a friend.  God be with you, Christina and the kids, as you watch over them. Until we meet again.....

Wes was a great friend and brother in law.  I remember becoming friends while in JROTC in high school, being a solid member of our Color Guard.  You later dated then married my sister.  You were there when I needed help the most, even driving me to interviews when I was not in any condition to drive.  Moving in with you and Cris in Kansas was the one thing that I will never regret.  We were able to spend time together and the moments we all had were great.  Most of all if it had not been for you and Cris I would never would have been able to meet Heather and have my three boys and for this I am thankful.  God has had to take you home early but your love and devotion to my sister and your family will last a lifetime.

      Our time on earth is short. It becomes summed up as a small dash between two dates that is forgotten at best within 3 generations. Of all of the things that we have done during our “dash” of time on earth, only the things that were done out of our love for Jesus matter. It is out of our love for Him that we become able to selflessly love others. 

     You truly love the Lord. You put other's needs before your own. I can't think of a time that I was working on a project (no matter how ridiculous the project may have been) that I needed help and you weren't willing to help me. I met you just after your father had passed away. It was the start of a lifelong friendship.  You played a part in almost all of the good memories that I have from my high school and college years. 

     Now you have reached the beginning of the best phase of your life where you are spending eternity with Jesus. I am truly blessed to have taken part in your “dash” of time on earth. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. I love you, Marty. However long my “dash” of time on this earth is, I will never forget you. I am looking forward to seeing you again when my time here is done where we can worship Jesus together for all eternity.

My relationship with you started before you were born. I was glad to have those special few months alone with you.I was so privileged to be there when you took your first breath and when you took your last.  Be at peace my sweet boy. I miss you.  Love Mom.

Im so sorry for ur loss Jackie, I could not even imagine what u r going through prayers for u and ur family.

My memories of Wes are from high school. He was such a fun loving spirited guy.

When I first met Marty we became instant friends. We always had great talks through the years and he loved to talk!  He had a great perspective on everything and I was proud that he grew up to be a man of integrity.  His love for Chris and his children was incredible and so very genuine.  His attitude and will to overcome this horrible sickness was courageous and in the last few weeks he laid it at Jesus' feet.  I will miss him, I will miss his smile and I will miss his ability to speak on so much and so well. Rest in His arms Marty... I love you.

We are the grandparents (Pam's parents) and family from Michigan.  It was a blessing to us knowing Wes was ready to meet the Lord.  Wes was very good expressing his love for his children and family.  He was always kind and thoughtful to us.  We loved him very much.  He will be missed.
