

Bill was born in Louisville KY. As a boy he enjoyed scouting activities. He graduated Western Kentucky University with a B.S. and M.A. in Industrial Education. His teaching career began in Louisville and after moving to Naples in 1969, he taught at Naples High and Barron Collier High. During retirement he was a substitute teacher at Estero High. He belonged to the Optimist Club.
He and his wife, Juanita were volunteers at Wiggins Pass State Park for many years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Naples and later Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church. He built many homes in Collier County as a general contractor during the summer months. He thoroughly enjoyed exploring the countryside while camping with family and friends. He was also talented watercolor artist.
Bill is survived by his wife Juanita, son Ted, daughter Pamela and grandchildren Beta Bond and Taylor Paul.
A Service of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Bill's house, 551 Cypress Way E, Naples, FL 34110. Following food and fellowship at Bill's house a Sunset Service will be held 7:00 PM at Wiggins Pass State Park, Lot 5, on the Shoreline, 11135 Gulf Shore Dr, Naples, FL 34108.
