Zdzislaw Samulak

It is with heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of Zdzislaw Samulak on June 8, 2020. Zdzislaw was a loving, gentle and noble man, utterly dedicated to his family, friends, and he touched many lives. He had been a resident of Naples since 2007 and was formerly of Watertown, NY.

On August 12, 1961 he married Romualda L. Konopka in FARA (Church of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr), Ostrow Wielkopolski.

He received his Master’s of Mechanical Engineering at the Politechnika Poznanska in Poznan, Poland.

He and his wife are parishioners at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Naples, FL.

He was an accomplished manager, mechanical engineer and a professor, who was granted several international, technical patents. He was an active member of professional and other associations, and through the years was a dedicated contributor to the cultural news in Kalisz. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate spirit and his devotion to his grandchildren. Zdzislaw was an old-school gentleman who was passionate about his family and cultivating friendships. He had a deep interest in the history of his native Poland.
