Albert was a mechanic, graduating from Delgado Trade School. He was affiliated with the National Drag Racing Organization and enjoyed working on cars and spending time with close friends and family.
He is survived by his sister, Karen S. Attaway (Tom); nephews, Lee Attaway (Stephanie) and Seth Attaway (Jessica); and great-nephews, Whit Ephraim Attaway and Thomas James Attaway.
The family would like to give special thanks to Care Associates and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center for the heartfelt care they provided.
The services will be on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. The interment will follow within Metairie Cemetery.
