Alice W. Babin passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the age of 86. Alice is survived by her beloved husband Felix J. Babin of 66 ½ years; loving children Steven (Nancy), Kathleen (Greg), Michael, Pamela (Paul), Daniel (Anita), Linda (Mark), and Karen (Terri); caring sisters Mildred Rizzo and Adeline Evans; adoring grandchildren Aimee, Ross, Kevin, Scott, Jennifer, Laura, Meghan, Michael Paul, Justin, Andrew, Alyssa, Dylan, Mary, Benjamin, and Gregory as well as fourteen great-grandchildren. Alice is preceded in death by her parents Andrew V. Waguespack and May Bourgeois Waguespack; brothers Paul and Jean Waguespack. Alice was very much a caregiver of sick family members and a devoted baby sitter of her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 12pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until service time. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
