

André P. Guichard passed away on January 31st, 2023 at his home of natural causes. He was 70 years old. André was born in New Orleans, went to Grammar School in New Orleans, attended S.J. Peters Jr. High and graduated from East Jefferson High School. He earned his undergraduate from L.S.U. He was a lifelong supporter of L.S.U. Athletics. His desire to practice Law lead him to Loyola University School of Law, where he obtained his law degree in 1979.
He was the founder of the New Orleans Traffic Ticket and D.W.I. Law Practice for Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemine and St. Bernard Parishes. André has always prided himself on working for several years in his early days assisting Governor John McKeithen.
He is survived by cousins in Virginia and Massachusetts. He is also survived by many good friends, male and female of all ages in the Metro-New Orleans area. He especially loved his dog, Louie the Pooch!
He loved The Three Stooges and old movies. André will always be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor and his ability to bring joy and laughter to his friends in that way!
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, June 17, 2023, with Visitation starting at 11:30 and a Mass at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
