Anna M. Upton

Anna M. Upton, loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 20, 2016. She was 72 years old. Beloved wife for 53 years to Kenneth D. Upton, Jr. Mother of Steven J. Upton (Lori) and Carol A. Upton – Sieverding (Mark). Grandmother of Jason R. Upton (Kacie), Stephanie J. Upton (Jonny), Emily Upton Weaver (Rob), Jacob Upton Sieverding, Thomas Duthu, and Adam Duthu. Great grandmother of Logan S. Upton. Sister of Mirto Cescut (Danielle), and the late Fulvio Cescut. Daughter of the late Carlo and Ancilla Cescut, and daughter-in-law of the late Kenneth D. and Lillian Underhill Upton. She is also survived by two nephews, Carlo Cescut (Michele) and Alain Cescut (Marie), four great nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Robert Upton (Roberta) and three nieces; and a sister-in-law, Martha M. Campbell (and the late Samuel). Anna was born and raised in Aviano, Italy, and moved to the United States in 1963. She was an active parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. Clement of Rome in Metairie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2:00PM.
