Annie Mary Ciolino

Annie Mary Ciolino passed away on July 20, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born on November 24, 1935 in Hammond, Louisiana. After graduating high school, she became a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Metairie. She loved her family first and foremost. She enjoyed the times she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will all miss the family gatherings she hosted.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Frances Ciolino.

Annie is survived by son, George B. Recile (Kathryn); grandchildren, Ashley Morgan and Bryan Recile (Sally); and great grandchildren, Rowan and Arden McCarthy.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Magnolia Oden and Anita Muse for the loving care they provided. They will always be a part of our family and hold a special place in our hearts. We also wish to thank the nurses and staff at Compassus Hospice, especially nurse Amanda for the selfless care she provided. Lastly, we would thank those at the assisted living facility for the care they provided over the last year.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. After the Mass, Annie will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
