Audrey Gisevius Collins passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 28, 1928, to the late Roy E. Gisevius and Mildred Fischer Gisevius.
Audrey is also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Floyd R. Collins; siblings, Joyce Gisevius Cassidy (Charles) and Beryl Gisevius Moran (Lyle); granddaughter, Christi Lee Collins. She is survived by her children, Lynn Collins Juhl (Jerry) and Craig A. Collins (Charlene Nikolaus); grandchildren, Tressica Juhl Gomez, Brandy Juhl Fischer (Jayson), and Melissa Juhl; great-grandchildren, Isabella Gomez, Alexandria Fischer, Shelby Fischer, and Ava Fischer, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Lance Campo at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Interment in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
