Betty Amos Holmes passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Willard P. Holmes. Mother of Douglas E. Holmes, Mark B. Holmes (Myra), and the late Steven P. Holmes. Grandmother of Christopher P. Holmes, Jennifer K. Holmes-Dever (Randall), and Matthew D. Holmes. Sister of Virginia Amos (Michael), and Harvey Amos, Jr. (Lauren). Daughter of the late Harvey and Gertrude Lilly Amos. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jan Holmes, and her step-mother Walton Amos.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
