Beverly Ann Bradford

12 noviembre, 1940 – 26 octubre, 2025
Obituario de Beverly Ann Bradford
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries

Beverly Ann Magaraci Christie Bradford moved on to a bigger and better dinner party on Sunday afternoon, October 26, 2025, surrounded by the love and affection of family, whom she cherished deeply, and to the sounds of “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra (whom she also cherished deeply). While Beverly was indeed a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, those lucky enough to spend time with her know she was in her own right a steadfastly loving force and life of the party.

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Beverly carried her joie de vivre first to Detroit, Michigan, then to her beloved Fairhope, Alabama, with her final stop in New Orleans, Louisiana. In her trademark New York accent, Beverly bestowed her infectious laughter and celebratory spirit upon every place she called home and everyone she called a friend.

As a professional and as an energetic lifelong volunteer, Beverly employed her blessings of high intellect and generous spirit to help humans and animals in need.

Gathered around a table bountiful with food and wine - a setting she always loved - her family created this collection of words in an attempt to accomplish the monumental task of summing up tiny (in body only) Beverly’s spirit and almost 85 years of living:

gregarious and generous; animal lover and rescuer; dedicated volunteer and fearless advocate; sweetly spicy; holiday loving anti-grinch; lover and sharer of Italian music and food; adventurous traveler; laugh out loud!; supremely talented chef; benevolent kitchen teacher; consummate entertainer; playful, creative golfer; lovingly mischievous; accidental and enthusiastic Southerner; flirtatious social butterfly; dancing (while rhythmically pointing) queen; aerobic aficionado; cawwfee tawwlker; Neil Diamond superfan!; talented and original interior designer; loyal, caring friend; strong and nurturing maternal dynamo; and clearly, truly, one of a kind.

In lieu of flowers, Beverly’s family requests donations in her honor to the Davis Phinney Foundation or the Kirk Gibson Foundation, who work to improve the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s Disease by maintaining quality and joy of life. We’ll be forever grateful she shared the unparalleled qualities and joys of hers with us.
