Bill B. Larkin

Bill B. Larkin passed away at his home in Metairie on May 25, 2025, at the age of 94. He was born on September 7, 1930, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He worked as a barber for over twenty years and then switched to property management which he worked in for 50 years. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a one-time member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, willingness to help others, and his radiant smile.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Mercedes Ricaud Larkin, and brother, John Roger Larkin.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 75 years, Anne Porter Larkin; sons, Mark B. Larkin (Kristin Veltrop Larkin) and Bryan J. Larkin (Cheryl Percy Larkin).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1 PM with a Mass to follow at 2 PM. Bill will be laid to rest in All Saints Mausoleum immediately following the Mass.
