

She was the daughter of the late Luke Paternostro and Anna Brushia Paternostro, and sister of the late Rita Paternostro, Antonia “Nina” Mistich (Raymond), Joseph Paternostro (Louise), and Barney Paternostro (Joyce).
Bonita is survived by her sister, Francis Paternostro Perret (the late Gerald); five loving nieces; seven nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
Bonita was married to Milton John Graff, Jr. on June 24, 1950 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death. Her greatest accomplishments were her two sons, Milton J. Graff, III (Diane) and Michael J. Graff (Pam), and her loving grandchildren, Nicholas Graff (Treasa), Nicole Graff Paretti (Louis), and Ryan Graff. Bonita will also be remembered by her precious great grandchildren, Dominic Graff, Andrew Graff, Cecilia Paretti, and Marie Paretti. She was Godmother to Francis Celina Calderone, Stephen Paternostro, and the late Raymond Mistich.
The family extends their gratitude to Mary Kropog for her many years of companionship and assistance, and to the staff of St. Francis Assisted Living and St. Joseph Hospice at the Carpenter House for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 4921 W. Metairie Ave. in Metairie, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, Masses said for her soul are preferred.
