Bonnie Fay Forest passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved wife for 57 years of Roy Leonard Forest. Loving mother of Karen Forest Gaillard, Barry Leonard Forest (Nancy), Wade Leonard Forest (Belinda Battistella), and Thomas Leonard Forest. Grandmother of Mandy Forest Gomez (Scott), Andrew Kaufman (Dixie Smith), Amber Pinto (Mike Magee), Michelle Forest (Josh Diaz), Ashley Warren (Nick), Erin Forest, Christopher Forest, Daniel Forest, Emalee Swisshelm, Nicholas Forest, Izavel Marquez, Elizabeth Forest, and Gabriella Forest. Great grandmother of Hunter Gomez, Blake Gomez, Addison Gomez, Izayah Pinto, Iyana Pinto, Imani “Gator Baby” Pinto, Porter Magee, Haileigh Kaufman, Rylei Kaufman, Charlotte Diaz, Spencer Warren, and the late Christian Pinto and Aubree Kaufman. Sister of the late Stanley Cooper. Daughter of the late Percy Norman and Mildred Elizabeth Cooper. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Angel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.
