She was preceded in death by her late husband, John S. Gentilich Jr. She is the mother of John S. Gentilich III; daughter of the late Hugh Farrell and the late Mary N. Farrell Pecar, who was then married to the late Joseph J. Pecar.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary F. Rousell and husband, Nathan; The late Huey Farrell and wife, Madeline; Deanna F. Rester and husband, Lawrence; Wendell J. Farrell and wife, Janet; Peggy P. Singletary and husband, James; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her memorial services on Monday, April 13, 2026, which will be held at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation is from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM followed by the Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM.
