Brent Howard

On Tuesday, November 19, Brent Howard passed away unexpectedly. Survived by a loving family who cherishes his memory but is grief stricken by his untimely passing. Brent leaves behind two adoring parents, Steve and Kathleen, his older brother Kyle, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. In addition, his memory will be carried on by the many great friends he effortlessly accumulated throughout his brief life; all of who were greatly impacted by his caring, loving and beautiful soul.

Brent enjoyed all aspects of life and excelled at almost everything he tried. Intelligent, athletic, and personable; there was no doubt that Brent's star burned bright when he devoted his attention to something. From pitching a baseball to landing the biggest fish Brent made success appear effortless. In fact, when fishing he would often catch the biggest fish by simply casting out, placing his rod in the rod holder, and taking a nap on the ice chest. His laid back method was so successful that his father, Captain Steve, and brother, Kyle, affectionately called his method "Brent Style".

Brent loved sports and music thoroughly. Most importantly he was a kind and caring soul never wishing harm or ill will on anyone.

Animals and kids loved being in his presence because the goodness within him was so evident. Able to light up a room and make friends wherever he went, Brent was truly an amazing person. Although his departure may seem premature to us on Earth, the good Lord knew that Brent didn't need a full life to leave a legacy. Let us all be thankful we got to experience such an extraordinary personality while he was here. Brent will be forever loved and remembered fondly. RIP Brent Stephen Howard.

Private services were held for Brent and he was interred at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
