Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Antoinette Leaber and her loving husband, Otis Steve Fontenot.
She is survived by her sister, Gail Himel; her daughters, Tamara Reimann (Steve) and Lori Matherne; her devoted best friend and step-daughter, Stacey Fontenot; her step children, Steven Fontenot, Tommy Fontenot (Jennifer), Jeanne Fontenot Piwetz (Randy); nine loved grand-children and four adored great grand-children.
A visitation for Carol will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
