Catherine Anne Vaccaro

Catherine Anne Bourque Vaccaro left to be with her heavenly father on November 4, 2016. She was predeceased by her adoptive and loving parents, Joseph Lucas Vaccaro and Hazel Bourque Vaccaro and her biological parents Ellis James Bourque, Sr. and Rosalie Giglio Bourque. Catherine is survived by her siblings, Ellis James Bourque, Jr. (Judy), Anthony Joseph Bourque Vaccaro (Gail) and Marianne Bourque Judice (Bill).

Catherine leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Melissa Gail Vaccaro, Kevin Michael Vaccaro (Natalia), Nicole Judice Jones (Victor), Megan Judice Meyer (Christopher), Ellis James Bourque, III, (Rebecca), Steven Bourque (Kami), and Sheila Bourque Stoltz (Brian), and her nanan, Lorraine Prieto Kraus (Frank) who she continued to correspond with over the years.

She is survived by many great nieces and great nephews (and a great great nephew) who will miss her fun, childlike and playful personality. Catherine lived in Snowflake, Arizona for the last twenty years where she is mourned greatly by her friends who loved and cared for her in her last years.

She attended St. Dominic Elementary School and graduated from Cabrini High School.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
