Charlotte Ricks Valatkavage, native of Metairie, LA passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the age of 95. She attended Metairie High School and Soule Business College. Charlotte was a parishioner of St. Louis King of France, a member of Beverly Knoll Garden Club and Metairie Homemakers. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and quilting. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Vicky Lalehchini (Ali) and grandchild, Fatima Lalehchini. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 59 years, Vincent “Val” Valatkavage; parents, Charles Ricks and Rose Tranchina Ricks; her sisters, Gloria Carey and Virginia Nick; and her brother, Charles Ricks, Jr. The family would like to give special thanks to Kenneth Nick and Marcia Blevens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2pm.
