Cora Mary Derussy

Cora was the only child and beloved daughter of the late Creevy deRussy and Mary Frances Finney deRussy. She leaves behind her devoted and loving dog, Stardust.

Cora was first employed at Maison Blanche Department Store as Executive Secretary, later joining Dillard’s Department Stores where she was Administrative Assistant in the Business Office. Her career spanned over 50 years of combined service with Maison Blanche, D.H. Holmes and Dillard’s where she remained until shortly before her death.

Cora will be greatly missed by numerous friends and colleagues who loved her. She was much admired and will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, expertise and loyalty. She brought inspiration and joy to those around her.

Cora was a lifelong parishioner of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church,

Funeral arrangements will be private.
