David Paul Guarino, Sr., a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Hammond, LA passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was 74 years of age. David was a retired Industrial Engineer with a Master’s Degree and a Professional Engineering License. He enjoyed bowling, travelling, sudoku puzzling and mostly spending quality time with his family.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Clair Marie Nicholson Guarino. Son of the late Bernadette Mary Nuzzo Guarino and Peter Salvador Guarino. Loving father of Jennifer Clair Guarino, Ann Louise Guarino and David Paul Guarino, Jr. (Dana Rahman). Brother of Bernadette Ann Guarino. Adoring grandfather of Eden Rahman, James Rahman and Evian Johnson.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Tammany Hospice for their care of David in his last stages of life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Graveside Services following in Metairie Cemetery.
