

Deacon Nolen Joseph LeBlanc, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the age of 92. He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Harahan. After high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Army. Nolen was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church for 67 years and a deacon for 30 years. He also worked at Teamsters Local Union 270. He was the Secretary/Treasurer and served as a business agent for over 30 years. Nolen enjoyed cooking, playing cards and enjoyed being with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking the family on beach trips for over 21 years. Nolen is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanette LeBlanc; his daughters, Paula Nulty (Patrick) and Regina Bergeron (Scott); his son, Nolen J. LeBlanc, Jr. (Martha); his grandchildren, Patrice McKinnie (Taylor), Cameron LeBlanc (Jen), Paige Nulty, Jacob LeBlanc (Destiny), Lauren Guido (Dan), Nolen LeBlanc III, Tanner LeBlanc (Cierra), Gabrielle Bergeron, Elizabeth LeBlanc, Grace Bergeron and Emily Bergeron; great-grandchildren, Nolen, Liam, Eli, Connor, Chiara, Zélie and Kolbe; and sisters, Ella Marie Hollingsworth and Rena Calloway. He is preceded in death by his son, Paul LeBlanc (Terry); his parents, Randolph and Elvidge LeBlanc; sisters, Rita Mae Thibeaux, Vera Blanchard, Juanita Daigrepont and MaryAnn Childress; and brothers, Randolph LeBlanc, Jr., Raymond LeBlanc and James LeBlanc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan, LA on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Visitation at church will be from 10:00AM until Mass begins at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either St. Rita Catholic Church in Harahan or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
