

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kathy Andras; his two sons, Scott Andras (Heather) and Chris Andras (Kelly); his four grandchildren, Scarlett “Charlotte”, Taillon “Little Man”, Presley, and Adelynn; his brother, Robert Andras; and his loving dogs, Lobo and Gracie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Lucille Andras.
Dennis was born in New Orleans on February 25, 1948, and attended Nicholls State University. He retired from the U. S. Army, and owned and operated Deltone Electric. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, American Legion, Washington Artillery Veterans Association, and the 101st Airborne Veteran Association.
Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Tour ICU and DaVita, and to all of his doctors for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00PM. The visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
