Dennis John Howe passed away on July 19, 2016 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of Kathy Howe. Father of Dennis Howe Jr. (Adrianne), Chad Howe (Jessica), and Courtney Howe. Grandfather of Luke Howe, Reghan Howe, Rachel Howe, and Liam Howe. Brother of Karen Howe, Sharon Gratia, and Janice Godman. Son of John and Shirley Howe. He is also survived by loving friends and relatives. Dennis was born in Mobile, AL and was raised most of his life in New Orleans, LA and was a graduate of East Jefferson High School, Class of 1974. He was an electrician by trade until becoming owner of EIU, Inc. in 2004. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and close friends. He will be sadly missed but his life will be celebrated. Services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 with visitation beginning at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Leukemia Research or Hospice Compassus.
