A curious, intelligent soul has left this world. Edward Joseph Burke III passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Known to his family and friends as Bunty, he was born November 8, 1946, the first son of the late Edward J. Burke Jr and Eurilla Bacuzzi Burke.
Bunty graduated from Chinchuba Institute for the Deaf after he attended Southwestern University with studies in architecture and the arts, which became life-long interests. He was an employee for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years.
He is survived by two brothers: Michael Burke and William Burke as well as many loving cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
