Edward Eric Wiggers, 85, of Kenner, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. Edward was the beloved husband of 58 years to Catherine Patricia Lane Wiggers. Edward was a retiree from South Central Bell. He is survived by his wife and five children: Edward A. Wiggers, Danny Wiggers, Laura Anthony-Rigdon, Joanne Darassi, Mary Bastian, nine grandchildren including Catherine P. Belanger and two great-grandchildren. Edward is further survived by one sister, Joan Cavaluzzi. He lived an abundant life of friends and family, was immensely loved and will be heartily missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Special Olympics, 1000 E. Morris Avenue, Hammond, Louisiana, 70403. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, La. From 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral Mass will start at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
