Emilio Luis Schneider Orellana born October 3, 1936 passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 88. He worked as an Elementary teacher in his native country for many years. He enjoyed reading, jogging around the house, rescuing any hurt animal, drawing, and caring for his grandchildren. Emilio is preceded in death by his parents Armando Schneider and Fidelina Orellana. Emilio is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Maria Germana Aguilar Schneider; children, Karen (Javier), Ingrid (Miguel), Suyapa (Renialdo), Claudia, Luis Emilio (Carmen), and Luis Armando; grandchildren, Stefan, Paolo, Ethan, Jonathan, Ian, Isabella, Julian, Emily, Savannah, Alec, Jose, Antonio and Rachell. Services will be held on Wednesday, March12, 2025 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by a mass at 12:00PM. Interment will be at All Saints Mausoleum.
